What is Shape?
Shape is a culture-first Layer 2 network built on top of Ethereum, designed to empower the new NFT economy. The Stack continues into Season 2 with new projects, features, and ways to earn medals. A new medal category will be introduced for locking $SHAPE tokens. For every Black medal earned from locking, participants can claim 1 of 3,141 unique Maximal NFTs.

The $SHAPE airdrop is now live with four distinct eligibility paths. Follow these steps to check your allocation and claim:
- Visit the claim portal and connect your wallet
- Review your eligibility across the four allocation paths:
- Letters – Minted a Letter from Shape (doubled if you also minted a Stack)
- Tickets – Received as an active member of existing onchain communities, granting fixed $SHAPE amounts plus exclusive DeePle avatar items
- Creative Shapers – Creators whose projects joined the Stack before the airdrop received the “Creative Shaper” medal (max 1 claim per creator regardless of project count)
- The Stack – Largest allocation based on Leaderboard rankings from medal accumulation (Black, Gold, Silver, Bronze)
- Check your Ticket NFT metadata to view your specific $SHAPE amount before claiming
- Claim your $SHAPE allocation through the portal
- If eligible for DeePle items through Tickets, visit Deeple to claim your exclusive avatar customizations
Leaderboard Details
The Stack Leaderboard snapshot was taken on March 14, 2026 at 3:14pm ET. Rankings follow lexicographic order where one Black medal outranks any number of Gold medals, emphasizing engagement quality over quantity. The top 2,500 shapers qualify for allocations, with the top 360 receiving scaled amounts relative to rank. The rank 1 shaper received 11,111,111 $SHAPE tokens.
Season 2 and Locking Rewards
Continue participating in Season 2 with new projects and features. A new medal for locking $SHAPE will be introduced, and every Black medal earned from locking allows claiming 1 of 3,141 unique Maximal NFTs.
How to Get Started with Shape Season 2
1. Mint Your Stack
Your journey on Shape Network begins with minting your Stack:
- Visit http://stack.shape.network/
- Click on “Mint”
- Choose a chain to pay gas (multiple L2s supported). gas is very minimal.
- Optional: You can select to bridge extra ETH to the chain
- Enter referral code “ymbuynu” for an extra medal
- Complete the minting process
2. Engage with Projects
Interact with various projects on Shape:
- Collect NFTs
- Invite others to mint their stack
- Mint new creations
- Bid on artwork auctions
- Explore apps, games, and experiments
3. Earn Medals
As you engage with the ecosystem, you’ll earn medals:
- 🟤 Bronze: For initial interactions
- ⚪ Silver: For deeper involvement
- 🟡 Gold: For significant contributions
- ⚫ Special: For extraordinary achievements
4. Claim Medals
- Access your Stack dashboard to claim earned medals
- Your Stack NFT updates dynamically as you claim medals
- Note: Some medals can be revoked if conditions are no longer met
5. Climb Ranks
- Earn medals to climb ranks on the Leaderboard
- Higher ranks may grant access to exclusive opportunities
- Potential for allowlist spots in future Stack projects
